Cody is Getting Baptized

We are so happy for Cody! He is getting baptized later this month!! Cody has been asking for over a year to be baptized. We would have shared this with you all sooner, but it was important to us that we let our families know before we blogged about it. So . . . after tons of effort and desire from him, Josh and I said he could. He impressed us with his knowledge during the discussions he received. We asked him why he wanted to get baptized. He simply replied "Because I feel in my heart this is true." :::goosebumps:::

I am so impressed with Cody. He just seems to know those things that I have always struggled with. He is such an inspiration to me. Watching Cody prepare for baptism has really opened my eyes. Like I said, he just knows things. Things we haven't taught him, things that he hasn't really been taught in church. He has been this way since he was probably 2 years old. He amazes me. I learn so much from him. We are so blessed to have Cody in our lives.

His baptism is going to be on the 21st. We asked Grandpa Don if he would baptize Cody and we are so thrilled he said yes! If you'd like to come to Cody's baptism please let us know and we'll give further information. It would mean the world to him to have his close friends and family there to celebrate this special moment in his life. He has worked so hard for this special day.
