Dog Food

Last night Cody, Zackary, and I watched as Maddox put on a little play for us. He was going back and forth from the laundry room to the dining room with a large cup with about 1/4 of a cup worth of dog food. He had opened the dog food bag and brought the dogs bowls out to the dining room so he could fill them up.

We watched and laughed at him for probably 20 minutes as he proceeded with the utmost determination. When both bowls were properly overflowing, he put down his cup and quickly dumped out the food in the bowls. Zackary and Cody were howling with laughter. Despite all the dog food that was now on my dining room floor-it was pretty funny. And then Maddox and Zackary decided it would be a good idea to "Beat up" the food. Um yea, that really helped to clean things up.

Then Cody began joking about eating the dog food and said he'd eat a piece for $10. I dug deep and offered him $1 if he ate a piece of it. He rejected all my offers; because he knew he would get them even if he didn't eat the dog food. But the end of this video is what took home the trophy. Notice all the dog food on the floor. It took FOREVER to get it all cleaned up! The dogs helped, a little.
